Welcome to the Armstrong Center for Community Learning

At the Armstrong Center for Community Learning (ACCL), we believe that learning is a lifelong journey. Our mission is simple — to connect people with the tools, programs, and opportunities that help them grow, learn, and succeed.

Located in Ford City, Pennsylvania, the ACCL proudly serves Armstrong County and the greater Pittsburgh region, helping learners of all ages reach their goals — from earning a diploma to discovering a new career or simply exploring something new.

Learning for Everyone

At the ACCL, we believe education never stops. Our online and in-person programs empower learners of all ages and backgrounds to expand their knowledge, develop new skills, and pursue new opportunities.

Testing & Certification Opportunities

Our ACCL Test Center makes it easy to take the next step in your education or career. We offer a wide variety of exams and certifications, including:

  • High School Equivalency (GED® and HiSET®)

  • NREMT (EMR, EMT, AEMT & Paramedic Certifications)

  • PA State Police Cadet Testing

  • PA Educator Certification Exams

  • PA Cosmetology & Barber Licensure Exams
  • Amazon Web Services, CompTIA & Microsoft Certifications

  • CLEP Exams for college credit

  • TEAS Testing for nursing students

We’re proud to partner with Pearson VUE, PSI, ETS, Assessment Technologies Institute, and Seton Testing Services to make these opportunities available right here in our community.

Explore the Outdoors with Us

The ACCL also operates the Outdoor Discovery Center at Crooked Creek, where children and adults alike can experience hands-on environmental and nature programs. It’s a wonderful place to learn, explore, and connect with the natural world.
