At the Armstrong Center for Community Learning (ACCL), we believe that learning is a lifelong journey. Our mission is simple — to connect people with the tools, programs, and opportunities that help them grow, learn, and succeed.
Located in Ford City, Pennsylvania, the ACCL proudly serves Armstrong County and the greater Pittsburgh region, helping learners of all ages reach their goals — from earning a diploma to discovering a new career or simply exploring something new.

Explore the Outdoors with Us
The ACCL also operates the Outdoor Discovery Center at Crooked Creek, where children and adults alike can experience hands-on environmental and nature programs. It’s a wonderful place to learn, explore, and connect with the natural world.

Post-Secondary Scholarships – Applications for 2026 scholarships open Spring 2026!

Free Training Facilities for Local Employers – Local businesses can use our facilities at no cost to provide employee training, workshops, or professional development sessions.
- Free Adult Basic Education Classes – In partnership with ARIN Intermediate Unit 28, we offer free classes to help adults prepare for the GED® and HiSET® exams, improve English language skills (ESL), and get ready for TEAS testing for nursing programs.
- Support Local Learners – We gratefully accept donations and scholarship endowments to help fund post-secondary education for local residents — including high school students, current college students, and non-traditional learners pursuing their goals.
